The Well-Being of the Thermal Balneotherapy
Balneotherapy consists of immersing the body in thermal water or seawater, and the curative effectiveness of these baths is related to the thermal and chemical-physical properties of the water. Balneotherapy is indicated for both artrorheumatic diseases and for vascular problems.
The vascular paths of the pool help to stimulate the circulation of the lower limbs, and are therefore useful in cases of venous insufficiency, varicose veins and water retention.
The vascular exercise carried out in these paths consists in passing continuously in two corridors with hydro-massage pool of sea water at different temperatures, and leads to a considerable toning of the venous vessels. Different but equally effective, the whirlpool in the single pool acts facilitating the flow of venous blood from the extremities towards the heart.
